History and additional information

This 1989 Volvo 245 is a 240-series wagon, powered by the 2.3‑litre B230F inline-four paired with a manual gearbox.

According to the seller, since around 2018 a large amount of work and money has been invested into the car, with every repair and service logged in a spreadsheet; a detailed parts/maintenance list is available. The car is described as technically in very good condition, with nothing currently needing replacement or repair — the engine oil is fresh with under 200 km since change, and oil was changed annually regardless of low mileage.

Total spend to date is stated as roughly €15,000, with many OEM parts used, including a new fuel tank with OEM sender and a new exhaust system. Brand-new winter tyres on the original wheels have covered about 50 km; good summer tyres with separate wheels and spacers are also included. Two sets of keys come with the car, which is stored in a warm, dry garage.

The seller is selling to low usage and claims he is doing so with a heavy heart as he enjoyed the ownership of this vehicle. He may consider trades for another enthusiast car.
