This 1968 Pontiac Firebird is a first-generation example presented in Verdoro Green metallic and powered by a 5.0-litre Chevrolet small-block V8, paired with a factory-style 4-speed manual transmission.
According to the seller, the car has undergone an extensive restoration covering bodywork, paint, interior, and mechanical components. The restoration is documented with photographs and included body repairs, a full respray, replacement exterior chrome, and a sympathetic interior refurbishment that retained original features where possible.
Originally built with a Pontiac 400ci (6.6-litre) V8, the car now features a Chevrolet 305ci (5.0-litre) small-block V8. Power is delivered through a 4-speed manual gearbox, which has received a new clutch. The suspension has been fully refurbished. The seller reports that the car drives smoothly, with a solid drivetrain and confident road manners.
Exterior presentation is strong, with new chrome bumpers, handles, locks, and trim fitted. The car sits on American Racing five-spoke wheels with polished rims, wrapped in matching Cooper Cobra tyres.
Inside, the cabin has been retrimmed with new carpets and high-back leather front seats. The dashboard has been restored, switchgear refreshed, and a period-style radio with auxiliary gauges installed. The original rear seat upholstery has been retained to preserve authenticity.
