History and additional information

This 1992 Toyota Celica is a fifth-generation (T180) coupé, powered by a swapped 2.0‑litre 3S-GTE rev. III turbocharged inline-four from the JDM ST205, paired with a manual gearbox with a limited-slip differential.

According to the seller, he has owned the car since 2008 and it has undergone a number of modifications. The engine was imported from Japan and rebuilt from scratch using new OEM parts. The gearbox, taken from a sixth-generation Celica, was also rebuilt with new OEM parts. The seller reports a dyno result of 260 HP and 312 Nm on the OEM JDM ECU at 0.9 bar of boost.

The seller states that all suspension bushings were replaced with polyurethane ones, all control arms were sandblasted and powder-coated white, and the battery was replaced with a gel unit. The velour interior was cleaned, with the seat covers and carpets removed and washed, and the dashboard and HVAC ducting with the heater core removed, disassembled and cleaned. The floor was sandblasted, any damage repaired and then protected, and the paintwork was polished and ceramic-coated.
