This 1999 Citroën XM Exclusive is a late-production Series 2 example powered by the ES9 J4 3,0-litre V6, paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission. It is equipped with Citroën's hydropneumatic suspension and represents the highest trim level offered for the XM.

According to the seller, the car was purchased in Switzerland in 2024 from the same authorised Citroën dealership that originally sold it new. The seller states it had a single owner throughout its life and was serviced exclusively by that dealership, with a complete documented service history.

The car is supplied with its original service book, two keys and maintenance records. At 114,000 km in March 2025, the timing belt and water pump were replaced by an authorised Citroën workshop. The seller describes the body as virtually rust-free. They also note that several panels on the right-hand side have been repainted, most likely following cosmetic repairs, but state there is no evidence of major accident damage.

The air conditioning, hydropneumatic suspension and automatic transmission all operate correctly. A dynamometer test is also said to confirm the engine is in good condition. The tow bar visible in some photographs has since been removed, and the bumpers have been repainted to address cosmetic scratches.
