History and additional information

This 1999 Volvo V70 Cross Country is a P80-generation all-wheel-drive wagon, powered by the 2.4‑litre turbocharged inline-five paired with an automatic transmission. It was imported to Lithuania from Germany.

According to the seller, the previous owner did not use the car during winters in Lithuania, and it has been stored in a dry garage and not driven in winter during the seller's roughly two years of ownership (since 2024). The seller maintains it as an enthusiast car, prioritising preventive maintenance and originality.

The seller describes the body as good for its age with no significant corrosion. Small areas of surface corrosion on the inner rear wheel arches were cleaned and treated with anti-corrosion protection, and no rust is currently known on the visible bodywork, arches, sills or structural sections. The car retains its original factory two-tone paint, seats and interior trim.

Work carried out during the seller's ownership: engine service and preventive maintenance, new PCV/crankcase ventilation components, new timing belt, intercooler replaced due to leakage, new front struts, new brake discs and pads all round, rebalanced propeller shaft with new centre bearing, rebalanced wheels, transmission fluid drain-and-fill, differential oils and other fluids replaced. The A/C electronics were repaired and the system recharged and tested, and the front headlamps and turn signals were replaced due to faded reflectors. Window control components were replaced, and the alarm and central locking were restored with a replacement module and remote. The car is on all-season tyres, and the seller states all controls and switches function.

During the seller's ownership, the car had a minor low-speed collision when another driver made an illegal U-turn. Damage was limited to the front passenger-side bumper, wing and headlight, with no structural damage; the wing was straightened and panel lines remain correct. The seller describes the car as a comfortable cruiser with a distinctive five-cylinder sound.
