This 2010 Volkswagen Golf R is a sixth-generation hot hatch, powered by the 2.0‑litre CDLF turbocharged inline-four paired with a 6-speed DSG automatic transmission and 4Motion all-wheel drive. It was imported to Latvia from France.

According to the seller, he is the car’s only owner in Latvia. The engine was recently replaced with a complete used unit with 160,000 km, which comes with nearly 2 months of warranty remaining. The unit was inspected before installation. The seller states all work is documented, with the engine repair and replacement done at an authorized VW service partner, and the original engine with all its accessories is included in the sale.

Work carried out: new timing chains with tensioners, new spark plugs and ignition coils, a new flywheel and fuel pump, serviced crankcase ventilation, replaced gaskets and seals, new filters and Liqui Moly 5W40 oil, and cleaned intake ports (carbon deposits removed). Other maintenance and suspension repairs were also done, including a DSG transmission oil and filter change and a Haldex AWD oil and filter change, along with other worn components that are not itemised. After import the car was treated with Krown rust protection. The seller describes the bodywork as in great condition with no rust, and the car as tight and solid, with no rattles or unwanted noises.

The car is currently fitted with original 19-inch Talladega alloy wheels and summer tyres. Also included are genuine 19-inch Mk7 Golf R Cadiz alloy wheels with almost new Nokian Snowproof winter tyres.

The car features an electrically adjustable driver’s seat, DCC adaptive sport suspension with adjustable damping, climate control, Dynaudio premium sound system, front and rear parking sensors, and dynamic Bi-Xenon headlights. The seller is also open to an exchange.
