This 1981 Audi 100 5E is a modified C2-generation sedan, powered by the 2.1‑litre K-Jetronic fuel-injected inline-five paired with a manual gearbox.

According to the seller, the project began in 2020 with a German barn-find Audi 100, stored since 1986, whose body was beyond restoration but whose interior and many original components had been well preserved. A second Audi 100 was later sourced in Estonia with a rebuilt body and the 2.1‑litre inline-five engine, forming the project's foundation, combining the restored chassis with the preserved interior and original details from the German car.

The engine has been fully rebuilt to factory specification, with the original Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection. The chassis was rebuilt to an OEM+ standard with upgraded front brakes and custom air suspension - custom PK Coilover struts at the front, TA Technix components at the rear, and four-corner Airride management.

The car is finished in Toyota 6V4 Spruce Mica with hand-painted pinstripes by Jarmo Nuutre of One Eyed Morse Kustoms. Exterior details include Audi 200 headlights and front lip, original Auto-Plas rear window louvers, and custom 16x9 three-piece wheels based on original 14-inch Audi "Waffle" wheels with hidden hardware, fitted with Falken tyres.

The interior remains almost entirely factory original aside from a Nardi Torino steering wheel and sound system, with a custom air-suspension installation in the trunk.

The car may also be sold with its restored original suspension and stock wheels instead. The complete restoration is documented in the film "Road to Perfection," nominated for Best Independent Film at the International Motor Film Awards.
