History and additional information

This 1991 BMW 850i is equpped with a manual transmission, the M70 V12 engine and shows 103,000 km with 25 years of single ownership.

According to the seller, the engine and transmission were partially rebuilt in 2026 using only genuine OEM BMW parts. The seller states that the car is 100% original, with the only changes being a black Alcantara headliner in place of the factory grey material and a fresh Bilstein & Eibach suspension setup. The seller also notes that the engine pulls at full power and runs exactly as it should, with cylinder compression reported at 11-12 bar.

The mileage is original and fully verified through technical inspection records. The car is said to retain its original paint apart from the bonnet, which was repainted at some point, although the date is unknown. The seller states that the car is fitted with sport seats, walnut interior trim, and a sunroof, and that all systems and electronics work properly. The body is described as rust-free. The car is sold with OEM Style 8 wheels, while OEM CSi "Throwing Stars" Style 21 staggered wheels are available separately for an additional €3,500. The car comes with new tyres.

Major work completed in 2026 included a new Bilstein & Eibach suspension, replacement of all OEM intake and exhaust manifold gaskets along with other sealing gaskets, new lambda (O2) sensors, and a Turner Motorsport USA transmission rebuild kit. The cooling system work reportedly included a new thermostat, expansion tank, radiator, and a V12Throttle USA water pump. The seller also states that the car received new BMW front lower control arms, new spark plugs, ignition leads, ignition coils, distributor caps and rotors, as well as new knock, crankshaft, and temperature sensors. Additional work is said to include new batteries fitted in 2026, replacement of both oil pan gaskets with no oil leaks present, new OEM mufflers retaining the completely stock exhaust system, a new clutch release bearing and clutch disc, a new heater circulation pump and control module, new windscreen washer pumps, fan clutch, and A/C fan resistor, with all fluids and filters changed in 2026.
