History and additional information

This 1994 Nissan 200SX project car is offered with German documentation and has been deregistered for approximately 15 years. It was originally purchased with an engine defect, after which a fully rebuilt replacement engine was installed.


According to the seller, the chassis shows approximately 140,000 km. Some bodywork has already been completed, however the chassis and suspension still require attention, as rust is present. Despite that, the car is described as accident-free and a solid base for a proper restoration or performance build.


Extensive list of parts are included with the sale: a CA18DET engine with spun main bearing, H&R Spacers 15mm (2x), Nardi Classic steering wheel with a matching HKB steering wheel hub, Apexi AVC-D boost controller with solenoid, Megan Racing strut bar (CA18DET version), welded differential (3.9, ABS), OEM metal front fenders, extra "Chuki" front bumper, multiple fuel tanks, dashboard, stock headlights and taillights.


For an additional €3,000, there is an UK market S14 200SX SR20DET engine available, including all auxiliaries (air conditioning included) and a gearbox. This engine has not been installed or run in a vehicle, so its operational condition is unverified. However, inspection shows clean cylinder walls with visible cross-hatching, piston tops and valves showing only typical carbon deposits, and a good leak-down test. Photos of the crankshaft main bearings can also be provided upon request, and the engine appears to be a healthy, low-mileage example. The engine is only sold with the car, or separately once the car is sold.

Known Issues
  • Drivers side rocker and underbody rust
  • Rear driver side brake caliper needs to be rebuilt
  • Leaking rear main seal
  • Hydraulic lifter tick
  • Inconsistent idle issue
  • Some misfiring and irresponsive response to acceleration
  • Leaking ABS hardline connection
  • The locks don't work, as well as different keys are used for ignition and locks
  • Front windshield wiper mechanism needs to be rebuilt (parts included)
  • Air conditioning needs to be addressed
  • Light overspray on body
