The Porsche 924 Turbo brought forced induction and a much sharper character to Porsche’s front-engined sports car, while retaining the distinctive 924 transaxle layout. Only 6,795 examples were built for the U.S. and Japanese markets, making these cars considerably rarer than the standard 924. This example was imported from the U.S. and has been with the current owner since 2013. A fuel delivery issue discovered after purchase was sorted by a Porsche specialist.
The car has retained its factory specification, including a leather interior, rare 924 Carrera GT front seats with better lateral support, power windows, air conditioning, the original Blaupunkt cassette player, a removable sunroof panel with a leather storage bag, magnesium alloy wheel nuts, rear mud flaps, as well as the original jack and unused spare wheel.
Disc brakes are fitted at all four corners, with ventilated discs up front. The body is said to be rust-free, and the original anti-corrosion coating remains on the underside. The car has historic vehicle status and a valid technical inspection until 2029. This year, all brake pads, the front brake hoses, engine oil, and brake fluid were replaced.
• A/C does not blow cold air
• The automatic radio antenna does not work
